Time Flies
You know, it just occurred to me that within a few weeks I’ll have been at the paper for almost half a year. Crazy!! I still feel like I just got here.
I think a lot of that has to do with not being totally settled in until pretty recently. We’re finally moving into our own apartment (I’d been rooming with a friend since), and we’re both really excited about that. It’s a pretty cool looking place. I’m there on my own for about a week (journal fodder?? … we’ll see), and then the movers show up on the 10th. Exciting times!
Beyond that, I finally got a desk at the office. Long story … best to say, I’d spent the last several months squatting at other people’s desks or just doing my work in the larger iMac farm that is the photo work area.
It’s nice to have a desk. A place to keep things, and of course, place to express myself …
Technically I did have my locker, which I made short work of …
What can I say … I’m all about weirding out the co-workers with odd “flair” … so is my locker neighbor, it seems. I think we have a little unofficial contest going … can you guess which one is which?
Anyway, just a random post. I’m trying to get better about posting on here. Also trying to make some minor changes (notice the bigger photos?). I have more content to come, and promise to have my site up and running by early next year.
