Nature Photographer Fail
The above is a reference to the Fail Blog. If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know what I’m talking about, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Anyway, just throwing up a (hopefully) pretty picture to get past all the depressing cat and job stuff. Thanks again for everyone’s kind words and such — means a lot.
Yes, Michelle and I will be getting Cato a new friend at some point, probably later this month. No cat could ever replace Grazie, but we also know Cato is a sociable kitty and needs company. As soon as we get some work-related traveling done, this house will once again be home to multiple felines.
And the photo — from a “fall colors” shoot I did the other day. The whole nature photography thing is freaking hard, man. For starters, everywhere I went was devoid of people for some reason; and I’m never totally comfy with people-less photos. Beyond that, I just could not make an image I was totally happy with.
Still, I guess the editors didn’t mind this as it ran sub on Metro under another photo from the shoot, which I didn’t like as much.
So hats off to the nature photog crowd — you all make this look a lot, lot easier than it is.
Soon to come: a Fall recent work update on the website, plus — and I swear I really am working on this — wedding updates as well as changes to my portfolio.
Some times, I wish there were more hours in the day.
